Art of Conversation is a monthly social event held on a weekday from 4:30 pm - 7:30 pm during the last week of the month at a restaurant/bar in the Greater Edmonton area. The concept was created in 2006 by media personality Rob Christie and former Edmonton Sun columnist Graham Hicks with the goal of bringing people of diverse backgrounds together to engage in the rapidly vanishing art of face to face conversation.
Art of Conversation has collected a database of 2,500 attendees who are notified of each event via the AoC App. The event is open to everyone.
August’s Art of Conversation takes you to downtown to El Jardin in The Mercer Building on Edmonton’s historic 104th Street for a taste of Oaxaca, a city in Southern Mexico known for its indigenous culture and vibrant culinary scene.
Enjoy Happy Hour adult beverages and savour a variety of inspired complimentary Botanas Y Antojitos (appies). AoC will be held primarily in El Jardin’s interior however, the sidewalk patio will be open, weather permitting.
